Sinai-Grace Hospital offers comprehensive surgical capabilities: orthopaedics, including trauma surgery and the Joint Plus Excel knee replacement surgery, neurosurgery (brain and spine), gynecologic, urologic, cardiothoracic (heart) and general surgery. The hospital offers image-guided brain and spinal cord surgery, using the Stealth system to help pinpoint tiny tumors and reduce extra cuts.
            Thirteen general operating suites serve patients at the hospital. The Surgical Intensive Care Unit, located next to the Operating Rooms is staffed by physicians who have completed critical care fellowships, providing an extra level of expertise for patients recovering from surgery. In addition, three procedure suites are used for cystocscopies and urodynamics for bladder and other urinary tract tests. Most outpatient surgery is performed at the Barry Center in Farmington Hills and at the DMC Lahser Campus.
