Sinai-Grace Cardiology Grand Opening

DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital is proud to announce the completion of its multi-million dollar renovation and expansion of its cardiology facilities, strengthening the hospital's full site of cardiac services, from patient education through surgical intervention to cardiac rehabilitation.

The public is invited to celebrate the NEW Cardiac Facilities at a special Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, June 23 from 9 am until noon at the hospital. This heart healthy event includes:

• FREE Heart Screenings -- blood pressure, blood sugar (glucose), cholesterol, heart risk assessment
• FREE Healthy Heart Demonstrations
  • Executive Chef Jerry Nottage, from Southern Hospitality Restaurant Group that owns Seldom Blues, Sweet Georgia Browns and other Detroit favorites, will demonstrate and share some of his favorite new heart healthy recipes at 10:30 a.m. Come taste how delicious low fat, low salt recipes can be.
  • Sinai-Grace exercise physiologist Amy Hartfelder will demonstrate ways you can strengthen your heart at 9:15 a.m. Participation encouraged; appropriate for all fitness levels.
