     Walk/Run starts at 9:00 a.m. (at Outer Drive and Schaefer)

     Health fair runs 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (at Sinai-Grace Hospital)

Committed to a healthier lifestyle?  Here’s an event you’re sure to enjoy!

Sinai-Grace invites you to join the 2006 10K Walk/Run and Health Fair, on Saturday, July 29, 2006.  This great community event is fun for the whole family, with special guests, live entertainment, good food and a fun kids’ area.

Walk/Run

This year’s course is a full 10K (6.2 miles), along Outer Drive.  Participants have the option of completing the full 10K or going a lesser distance, based on personal preference and fitness levels.  Sinai-Grace will provide shuttle buses along the route for those who want to return without completing the full course.

Same-day registration for walkers/runners opens at 7:30 a.m. on July 29.  You can also pre-register via mail, fax or email between April 1 and July 15.

Health Fair

This health fair has something for everyone.  Free health screenings will include blood pressure, prostate, cholesterol screening and more.  Great food, special guests, health education and live entertainment will make for a fun-filled day.  And the kids’ area will offer games and activities.
Youth sports physicals will also be offered for a $10.00 fee (Parent/Guardian must be present).

 

Calling all Volunteers: We're looking for volunteers to help coordinate activities during the walk/run.  If you're interested in volunteering, please submit your name and daytime phone number and member of our volunteer committe will contact you.  Community service certificates will be provided to all volunteers.
